Travel Writing

DSC_0304-3 The world is such a fascinating, varied place and there’s always somewhere new to experience.  I’ve been extremely lucky to be able to indulge my passion DSC_1006for travel, taking me to all continents bar Antarctica so far.  Although I had a brief spell as a resort rep, taking care of package tourists, my own travels have been highly independent in nature, including a lone gap year that took me around the world, and more recently a multitude of house exchanges with my family, throughout Europe and further afield.  I love to be able to employ all the senses in conveying a location’s flavour in my writing, so that the reader is transported beyond the page.
